Mr. Liptrap recently retired from Klein High where he taught Chemistry. He has been active in area scholastic Chess for more than twenty years and has organized most of the cities largest tournaments.
Mr. Liptrap is a USCF Senior TD and is the chief arbitar of the rules in USCF sections of our events.
He is active in his church, has done extensive research into his family genealogy and is in the process of restoring an old REO autombile - a man of many interests.
